
Area leaders from business and government joined Stillwater Village officials Saturday, June 13, for the ceremonial ribbon cutting of Revolution Park.
Revolution Park is a newly developed pocket park in the Village of Stillwater, located near Schuyler Creek. The site features green space, a covered pavilion, a bike repair station, and informational signage that celebrates the area’s rich Revolutionary War history. The newly completed recreation space complements the area’s strong ties to the American Revolution.
Joining in the ceremony were (left to right above): Sally Herrick- Mechanicville/Stillwater IDA president, Sher Tedesco -Stillwater Village Clerk, Dorothy DeMarco – Stillwater Deputy Mayor, Jimel Williams- Stillwater Town Councilman, Jeff Stewart-Stillwater Village Trustee, Judy Wood-Zeno-Stillwater Village Mayor, Patrick Nelson-Stillwater Village Trustee, Michelle Duell-Chamber of Commerce President, Allen Caruso-NYS Assembly candidate, and Mike Butler, City of Mechanicville Mayor.
